Hola, my name is Marta and I am an Online Spanish teacher with more than ten years of experience, both online and offline, teaching Spanish as a foreign language.

I come from a small little town in the North of Spain called Santander (if you still don´t know it, what are you waiting for!? ).

After graduating in Education and subsequently getting a degree in Educational Psychologist I wanted to challenge myself so decided to leave my home behind and moved to Bournemouth in the UK. That was where I decided to become a Spanish teacher, opening my own school and helping people from 4 to 75 years old.

I also studied to become and English teacher (TEFL) and helped Spanish speakers to handle everyday situations there.

7 years later, and full of unforgettable memories, I was still in Bournemouth but I really missed my Spanish life and family so I packed my things again and came back to Santander, to carry on with my life and focus on Online Spanish lessons.

I love helping people and I am passionate about teaching this beautiful language. One of my lovely students commented that I am  “an excellent teacher with the patience of a saint!  Marta is also very charming and has a lovely smile which makes learning Spanish with her a very enjoyable and pleasant experience” . Here is my motto : “You are never fully dressed without a smile” and yes, I am super patient and can explain same thing thousand times without running out of patience or losing my smile.  That´s my superpower!

I am also very creative when it comes to my lesson directives. My lessons are always fresh and  fun. I have my own methodology based on the communicative method. All the activities are focused on improving oral, reading, listening and writing skills.
